Devin Davis

I came to audio post production from the music world, having recorded and released the album Lonely People of the World, Unite! back in 2005, which received positive write-ups in publications like Entertainment Weekly, Salon, AllMusic, Pitchfork, the Chicago Reader.

Currently, I am the Director of AV at the Art Institute of Chicago, leading a team in the recording, editing, and mixing of countless interviews, podcasts, lectures, and live performances, as well as contributing sound effects, precision foley, and original music to institutional content and gallery installations.

Some of my other recent clients include Shure Microphones, WTTW Chicago, NatGeo, Walgreens, Funny or Die, Tongal, SyFy, New York Life, and PwC, as well as Vimeo's 2019 Best of the Year Award winner Dan Rybicky, whose new short film "Stormy and the Admirals" I scored, sound designed, and mixed.

I am eager to work on new sound design and music projects. Please drop me a line!

Best regards,

-Devin
